Ok so I finallly got the script to run and now I can see what really caused all the confusion in first place.  When I was trying to set permission with Album, the word "visitor" had me thinking it mean guest and I didnt want them to post comment, rating, etc so that is what caused me to mess up.  So maybe when upgrading to new version, you will change it to "user" so people like myself wont get confused? :-)

I can see that point. I would think a visitor is an unregistered guest, too.

Thank you for the feedback.

This has been discussed before, and I agree it can cause some confusion, which is why the '*' and note '(*) depending on groups settings' was added from version 1.3.0.
It is also explained in the docs.

If this is still causing confusion, we may have to consider re-wording it.

It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here

Imo it only causes confusion for those who are reluctant to even read the footnote behind the asterisk (let alone read the docs). We have been discussing this before (as you already said), and we came to the conclusion that neither the terms "user" nor "guest" apply, the wording could only be changed to something more complex, which will defeat the purpose of a drop down list (and lazy people still wouldn't read it). However I have added a help icon next to it linking to the particular section in the docs (devel version).

Joachim.
