Voting logic
« on: October 16, 2004, 04:45:57 pm »

Okay, just commenting on this, I know it's probably not that important...
In the "Top Rated" view, the rating is given on the amount of votes and the final vote...
However, if a picture has 2 votes for 0 it has a higher rating than when it has 1 vote for 0... which is not very logical, because 2 votes means that people really hated it twice, not just once, and thus makes the picture belong at the lowest possible spot :P ...

Not only... If a picture has final votes f.e. 4,6 (5 votes) it has a higher rating than when it has 2 votes for 5...
For a few days it's possible to check it on a test site: www.foto-harce.net/cpg132/

Yes, but you can apply the change to your functions.inc.php yourself now
