Hello,

I'm from germany - so, sorry for my bad english... :-\\

Since two weeks I'm searching an error, but can't find it. The installation I've done three times yet.
All (uploads, permissions, cookies, bridge with vB etc.) works perfectly, only the hits and votes don't work.
I've read all here, but didnt found an answer.

Can it be an error of the server? All minimum requirements are ok and my hoster says that all is perfect
on the machine (but I'm not sure).

If anybody can helps me, I'm very very very glad! :-*

The link is http://www.fisch-hitparade.de/fotogallery/index.php?

Thank you and regards

Can you upgrade to the latest version (1.3.2)?

I don't think, because my bridge to vBulletin perhaps don't work.

I've turned it now in english and if anybody want an username and a passwort, I will tell you per PM.

1.3.2 comes with bridge files that work with most popular bbs installations.  It's highly recommended you upgrade.

Otherwise, create a test user with normal priviledges and post the name/password here.

But the same problem now: hits and votes don't work, allways "0".
What can this be? I need this gallery!
Some ideas? ???

Thx!!

I recommend upgrading to cpg1.3.2
There's something fishy with your install, as all special german chars (Umlauts) show up "messed". Did you edit any of the coppermine files with a WYSIWYG editor like frontpage or dreamweaver?

I am trying to help you - that's why I suggested upgrading, as this hopefully will fix your problem.

If I'm the first one with this problem, can it be an error of my hoster? He said no.
Anybody have an idea what can be wrong with the server?
I don't know what I should do now!? ???

I rather guess your language file got corrupted, either during ftp upload or when you edited it. Don't use a WYSIWYG editor to edit any files, and upload a fresh copy of the language file to your server.

I don't have a WYSIWYG editor and I didn't edit any file! ;)

@GauGau

Thank you for your help. I found the problem. The cookie must have an other name as the vBulletin and not the same!
Now all works! I'm happy!!! :D ;D :D
