Sending "New Pictures uploaded" Email to album members.

Im running a copy of Coppermine (GREAT album, btw) mainly for family members to keep track of our daughter (we live abroad). Every now and then i batch upload pictures for them to see.. Is there a hack/mod for an email to be sent to all album members telling them new pictures have been uploaded when this happens?

It would be great if anybody had any feedback on this.
