quality settings for intermediates
« on: October 28, 2003, 11:50:47 am »

When I upload a picture CPG makes a thumbnail and an intermediate. In this case the thumbnail is 140x104 pixels and 4kb big with JPG quality on 75 ( GD 2 ) and the intermediate is 260 kb , 800x600 pixels big  (the same size in kb & pixels as the original )

How can I let the intermediate be compressed aswell as the thumbnail. The thumbnail is nice and small in kilobytes, but the intermediate isn't compressed at all. Any1 know how to fix this ? ( I would like to keep the with and hight of the intermediate)

Well, either you have set the sizes to 800x600 in config, or you have turned intermediates off, and you are actually looking at the original. Is the intermediate you speak of in a pop up box?
