Adding HTML Tags in the description box.
« on: September 16, 2004, 07:09:57 pm »

hi,

the problem started when i added WMV files in my gallery - the WMV file being around 300MB it started taking forever to load. .so i figured on creating a link to the WMV file in the description box - since i use window media server.

but when i insert the html tags in the description box - the gallery does not take it - it shwos up with all the tags --- is there a better way of inserting videos ?? or how can i fix this HTML tags issue...thanx

Do you mean you want to create a download link to the file? Here's info on how to do it:

I've tried it and it works.

You need to use bbcode, not html, in the description boxes.

But if the file really is 300mb, I doubt anyone will ever view it, or download it, as even on broadband it would take hours.
