Title: Can I restrict user to create album?
Post by: eggidea on August 19, 2004, 10:48:21 am
I would like to make the coopermine photo gallery as a send ecard only program, so I dont want user to create their own album, and i disable user to upload photo and create album, but why they still CAN?

How to let user to send ecard only?

thanks for your help

Read the included documentation - everything you need to know is in there.

in coppermine config, set "Users can have private albums (Note: if you switch from 'yes' to 'no' any current private albums will become public)" to "Yes" (since this only toggles privacy on/off). Then go to groups and set "Can upload files" and "Can have a personal gallery" to "No" for all groups except admin.
