Title: Coming out of the Stone Age.

That is how I feel .. after using 4Images for over 2 years, patientely waiting for an upgrade (1.7 will live forever).

For the past 6 months I have been looking for an alternatiuve to 4Images, I ever try ASP solutions .. nothign even came close .. for some reason, I kept on missing coppermine.

4Images was just a pain, I usually take my pics is 2100 pixels format (5MP) .. but I wanted them to be display in 800x600 .. so I had ot convert them one by one (or a photoshop batch work) first to 800x600 then upload on by one .. tedious work.

I installed Copermine yesterday .. I alreayd uploaded 550+ Images this morning Alone, plus did a quick rework to the hardwired skin

I am still amazed at how easy it is to upload images form XP :)

Welcome, glad you like coppermine - please spread the word (e.g. by rating coppermine at Hotscripts or even writing a review there).

Nice theming (although the rating bars could use a little tweak). Care to share your theme?

Thanks .. still workign on it :)

I just notice the ability to name the images on it's date .. as long as it's been uploaded with the date as filename .. so I have started to re-upload it all :D
