Title: Number of views doesn't go up with slide show

I tested the slide show function & noticed that the number of views only goes up by 1, not by the number of pictures viewed in the slide show.
Is there any way to change this. Quite a few of our users have said they like the slide show, which means that we are probably getting a lot more views than the counter indicates.
