Title: I have a head-scratcher
Post by: mavensophie on July 12, 2021, 08:03:43 pm
I manage a client's Coppermine gallery. the main domain name was stolen... I have managed to rename all links... except the link for the slideshows: it still goes to the now not available domain name... so it shows 401 not found page.

anyone knows where this is hardcoded or stored either in a file or in the database, please?

the gallery is at http://www.mia5.com/ if you want to see exactly what I am talking about.

I am not a programmer, and haven't been an active webmaster for a while... but find my way in files...

Please help. I would really appreciate it. thank you.

You need to enter the new site URL in the general config.

ok, thank you. there must be another place as well... because I have successfully changed the url in the general settings, and yet the slideshow keeps going to the old url. any other ideas?

Oh ... I guess you are referring to the custom link in your menu, then. Try here (https://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg15x/docs/en/configuration.htm#admin_theme_custom_lnk_name).
Otherwise it is somewhere in your theme.

it seems that my whole installation is corrupted... so I am not sure what to do now.
