Hello
I hope someone is still around. I dl v 1.4.6 to install in the 1.6v of coppermine. Upon trying to configure, i get a syntax error...unexpected"[" in line 220 of config.php. Doing a test of the process, I got the same error but this time for line 77 of fullSlide.php Is there a problem with this version and the lastest coppermine? I'd love to get the ability to have users swipe upon using.

Most likely a PHP version issue. What PHP version are you using?

5.6.40 Thanks for responding

You'll need to move up to PHP 7.x or use one of the older slideshow versions (perhaps from the CPG 1.5.x plugins).
I check and post back with the version that could work with PHP 5.6

yeah, I can't move to a higher php, but if you can find that, that would be great. If not, at least I tried :)
Thanks so much

The 1.3.9 version may work for you
https://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/topic,75994.0.html
If you are using commercial hosting, you may be able to configure different versions of PHP for different folders. So ... PHP 7 for your gallery but 5.6 for the rest.

Thank you again, so much. Yes, I looked over the 1.39 version. I'll test it later. Good idea about the php, I will check that out too. I appreciate your time and will post what happens.

so it IS working, however all the pics are shifted to the right of the screen, so yu cannot see the full image. Is there a change I can make for that? I've tried using intermediate size and full size, but get the same shift. Let me know if I can fix anything in the settings for code.
Thanks

A different browser on mobile worked better. So for now, it's good. I'll keep figuring it all out, and if there are any fixes you come up with, I would appreciate it.
thanks agin

Sorry, Debbie ... I won't be doing any work on CPG 1.5.x plugins.

Oh no, I meant if the 1.6 stuff can ever be rigged. I appreciate your help and didn't expect backwards fixes. Thank you so much for your time and consideration Ron
