Title: migrating to new host - trouble with hit statistics table
Post by: scohen125 on October 15, 2019, 02:34:22 pm: I am moving my website to a virtual private server from a shared hosting account. I had to import the database bit by bit. My hit statistics table is very big and when I import it alone I get the following error:

Post by: ron4mac on October 15, 2019, 04:13:04 pm: There seems to be a problem with the table data that you are trying to import. You can scan down the file to see if you can see where the data inserts are mucked and try to correct it. Or you can just have an empty table and let new statistics evolve.

I have another problem with the website after migration. I'm going to start a new thread for that.

Post by: ron4mac on October 15, 2019, 04:32:21 pm: Statistics and view counts are mostly separate. You can turn off keeping statistics tables in the config.
