Title: SMF2 bridging issue - abandoned user gallery -> db error
Post by: totosfo on June 09, 2019, 02:56:51 pm
== Unfortunately I cannot start a thread in the parent board, so please move ==

Hello all,

I'm running CPG 1.6.06 which is bridged to my SMF Forum 2.0.15. No basic bridging errors, however when I go to the member galleries, the first gallery (id=1) has no username assigned and shows pictures and albums in the description which belongs to the first "real" user gallery id=10007. I've upload a screenshot which shows it.

I searched the db, all albums are properly assigned to member 10007, no orphans.

When clicking on the unassigned gallery, I get a critical db error immediately. And by the way, this errors occurs on my 1.5.48 gallery as well.

Any idea how I can get rid of this error? I didn't dare to delete the incorrectly shown from the db yet. Or can I just tweak the code so that member galleries just start at id 10000 instead of id 1?

Thanks for your help, much appreciated.

Thomas

Sorry, typo: the first gallery displayed has ID 10000, not 1. So I'd like to start with ID 10001 (?) if there is no other workaround.

Thanks,

Thomas

User galleries should start at 10001... (10000 + the user number).
Has anything changed the users (specifically their number) on the SMF side? as you would be using the SMF members table.
If it is trying to display a gallery 10000 - it sounds like it is encountering a member with id '0' - which I would not expect in either CPG or SMF.

Can you provide a link? (or is login to SMF required to view the gallery?)

Hi Greg,

thanks for replying.

I just had a look at the SMF members table - the lowest ID is 2, a search for id=0 returned zero results.

Here are the links:
Gallery: http://galerie.usa-reise.de (http://galerie.usa-reise.de)
Forum: http://forum.usa-reise.de (http://forum.usa-reise.de)

Both are open to the public, no login required for browsing. If you go to the "Mitglieder Galerien" (aka Member Galleries, http://galerie.usa-reise.de/index.php?cat=1 (http://galerie.usa-reise.de/index.php?cat=1)) you will see the problem.

Before bridging only the CPG admin user existed (and still exists) in the CPG user table, ID is 1.

One again, I appreciate your help.

Regards,

Thomas
