i looked myself but cant figure anything out, is there a way to move the thumbnail down so the thumbs line up when theres two lines of title

A link to a page where we can see the problem live would help. Having said that it may mean a substantial change to your theme.

and remove some of the excess space between the 2 anyway, theres just a padding for the left side in css, for the thumbnail

In the css for .alblink (style.css, line 419), add white-space:nowrap;

that changes the width of my predetermined site and makes it look unstructured

Have you thought about removing the date from the album title? (it's in the description)

its aesthetically correct and cant be removed
