Title: Convert PNG to JPG

I wanted to post this in General Discussion (no support) but for some reason I cannot post in that forum.

Does anyone know if there are any functions/plugins that allow an easy way to convert many png files uploaded to a gallery to jpg?

You are better off doing it with a tool such as irfanview before uploading. It can do a batch in seconds. To do it online could be resource intensive, will require your server to have imagemagik installed and will require adjustments to the eb for each image. A script could be written, but given the load it could place on a shared server it could upset your host.
