Hello guys,
How could I prevent my registered users from creating/modify albums?
I am using Curve, and that feature opens up when they click on My Profile.
I have tried to make My Profile icon for Registered Users, using Final Extract, but it always appears.
Any help?
Thanks
Alfredo

Any suggestions?

Well, I would start with looking over your member-group permissions:
(This is from the docs)
User can create personal albums within his user gallery and can upload to those albums he created
When the user is allowed to upload to personal galleries, the following settings need to be applied.
Groups → Row corresponding to the group → Personal gallery → Allowed = yes
Groups → Row corresponding to the group → Public albums upload → Allowed = no
The user will then have an additional menu item labelled "Create / order my albums" where he needs to create one album first before being able to upload (unless the config option Configuration → Registration → Create user album in personal gallery on registration is enabled).
And you have tried changing all the messes to no's?
Not that I can help you much beyond this, sorry. :-[

Yes, settings are as they should.
They are not allowed to create albums, and yet they can

I have also gone to the Categories panel, and user group "Registered" appears in the box "Group(s) allowed to create albums in this category ".
I cannot remove the user group from that box.
Any help?

OK... I found the answer myself (again)...Should do more research before I post!!
Anyways, here's the answer, in case anybody needs it.
Thanks
Also Files- Category - choose a category - click edit category - Group(s) allowed to create albums in this category - click [Ctrl]-button and click on the selected group (Registred) - click Update/Create Category.
Click the ? after Group(s) allowed to create albums in this category. That will tell you how to allow and disallow.
If you have it highlight with blu then their are allowed. If not then they are not allowed.
I loged in on your gallery and I'm able to create albums in the main Category so you have it set to allow Create Albums.
