Title: Defining measurements of the final pic
Post by: chant_s on November 15, 2015, 10:55:12 am
Where do I set that the final pic (not the thumb or normal) stays the same when uploaded and doesnt get shrinked? Thanks

http://documentation.coppermine-gallery.net/en/configuration.htm#admin_picture_thumbnail_auto-resize (http://documentation.coppermine-gallery.net/en/configuration.htm#admin_picture_thumbnail_auto-resize)
Also see setting just above this one in doc... If it is resizing, you are exceeding your max setting.
If resizing is disabled, non-admin users will get errors on upload if they exceed the max dimensions.

Problem is, my Max width or height for uploaded pictures is set to 1500 and my Max width or height of an intermediate picture * is 670 and the final pictures (not thumb or normal) get resized anyway, example:http://gallery.chantellestodden.com/displayimage.php?album=7&pid=196#top_display_media (http://gallery.chantellestodden.com/displayimage.php?album=7&pid=196#top_display_media) (*Not safe for work*)
click on the pic and see that it is in fact smaller then normal_
thanks

I edited your post to mark link as 'not safe for work'... Some employers are very strict in content accessed. While explicit links are certainly allowed here - we ask they be marked to alert those at work that they may not want to follow it till they get home...

When I view your pictures - they appear to be properly sized...
The intermediate image (normal_) is 502x669 (your intermediate size minus 1...)
The full sized image is 1500x1125 (matches you max size setting)

Perhaps your browser is resizing the image to fit in window? not a function of Coppermine.

That's right, I just realised the picture doesn't get shrinked, it's the popup window that is smaller than the normal_ pic and hence it resizes the big picture, I see
Where do I make the popup window bigger?
After rotating the pic, the final picture doesn't get rotated?

I can't recreate your problem (small popup window)... It appears larger to me (with scrollbars if needed - but filling my monitor).
Perhaps others will have a suggestion.

What you refer to as the 'final' image is actually the 'original' image to CPG... unless resizing on upload - CPG doesn't edit this image. (or watermarking - but in that case we still save an unedited original).
As you have CPG set up - only the thumbnail and intermediate images would be rotated.
(intermediate images are optional - you can replace original with intermediate - or use original as intermediate - in those cases the rotation would work.)
Not a feature of CPG I've ever used - as I always rotate images automatically coming off the camera... long before the upload to CPG.
Again - maybe others can help more.
