Is there some way coppermine can auto load new images posted to image directory?

Thanks

The batch add interface is all there really is for images uploaded via ftp. I suppose a cronjobcould be written to run every x hours but as the batch add interface requires authentication and admin input it could be tricky and could make things insecure.

Hello,

Thanks, but this is almost what i mean……
Is there also a way that he makes automatically the album to?

My problem is: I have here a map whit above 300 sub maps whit pictures on my computer.
The batch solution is great, but I must still create the 300 albums first?

This has been asked and discussed some time ago (haven't searched the thread yet), but if I remember correctly no script has been created that adds new picture in a specific directory to a chosen album. A separate script is needed as a cron job cannot use the batch interface by default, respectively it's probably harder to modify the batch-add interface or create a script that interacts with it.

It's quite easy to create a new album automatically once you have the above script.
