Hello
There have been a number of postings using the word 'Guestbook' and 'Advanced Guestbook'. In the few Coppermine installations I have been involved in, I have never been asked for a Guestbook.
I have had an enquiry from a photographer of birds who wants to change from a static HTML site to something better & easier to edit and add her many pictures. She also wants a Guestbook.
I have suggested Coppermine but having done that I can find no Guestbook plugin or whatever on your website. My question is- where is it please? Is it now a standard facility on the latest versions?
Can you please advise.
Thank you
Martin

Coppermine has no built-in guestbook. As far as I can see there's also no cpg1.5.x plugin, but maybe there's a plugin for cpg1.4.x (which probably have to be ported to cpg1.5.x), I haven't searched the cpg1.4.x plugin contributions board.

Just found this thread: http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/topic,73878.0.html
It seems that I ported it to cpg1.5.x for altenae. He told me that I'm allowed to share it with the community, unfortunately I haven't found it on the quick.

I just found some guestbook folder on my drive. The attached file should be the latest version. Just upload its extracted content to your gallery's root directory.

Thank you Andre.
I have not received the commission yet but if I do I will use the Guestbook.

I just tried to upload to my website but it is not loading onto the plug in manager page...when you unzip the file you have a seperate file for the php...where should this be uploaded? I have put it where all the other php's are and still no response.

Ok maybe I should read this a little bit better...it is not a plugin as such but you actually have to upload like you would a theme...doh!
Sorry for bothering you guys!

Please don't confuse other people. Themes have to be uploaded to the themes directory, but the guestbook has to be uploaded to the gallery root.

I uploaded this to my root and plugins folder but it isn't appearing on my plugin manager section.

You don't need to upload it to your plugins folder. Just upload it to the gallery root and access it via guestbook.php.
