Title: Plugin Image of the Week
Post by: Tankertom on February 24, 2012, 11:23:48 am
Sorry for my bad English.
I want to introduce here is my plugin "Image of the Week".
The plugin is used for displaying an image of the week. The output is displayed on the main page.
The choice depends on the week. It can be chosen which image size is displayed.
It is configurable for manual processing or weird about CronJob.
There is an archive of past issue of "pictures of the week", but here I must do something.
The operation can be viewed on the Partners page Fotofreunde Rathenow (http://www.fotofreunde-rathenow.de).
Further details are available in the Readme.txt.
It was tested with the default theme (curve).
I hope someone can use.

Hallo Tankertom

Thank you for a great plugin!

I have problem making it work though. I don't know if I need to do something more then make the settings in coppermine admin (config). (and of course settings in this plugins configuration)

I see only a text "Klicke" and when I hit it I get the response: "Error
The selected album/file does not exist!"

My webpage is http://echinopsis.eu

See attached screen print of my problem!

Maybe it has something to do with my upload folder on the gallery, there are several folders with uploaded photos.

See screen print.

This button does not show up in my plugin manager!

(is there any address I can type in the window to come to this "choice of picture"?)

After I uncheck cronjob, I get this button. But clicking it now gives me "critical error".

Tried a couple of times to check and uncheck, can not have this button "choose picture" while cronjob is choosen!

what happens when the cron job (file) is running?

I'm not sure I understand what you mean?

The button "select picture" only appears after I have unchecked cronjob!

Shall I start debug?

I'm not so good at understanding php!

I tried to uninstall, delete the plugin from server.

reupload to folder, reinstall plugin.

Now I have again the button "selection image of the week" before I check "create cronjob"?

Any ideas how to solve this?

but already it looks as if you have tables with cpg1.4. Please update to 1.5.20

I have renamed my tables (inside my database) to the prefix cpg_1.4. It has nothing to do with the version I run of coppermine.

I'm using 1.5.16

think that because the fault lies. Please address this, and then the plugin should run.

Thank you for your help!

I don't know how to do this so I'll have to see what I can do about the plugin. If I can't get it working I will have to give up the idea of using it!

I've managed to get it working, but it won't show any picture, only a link.

Is this something you could solve easily?

It should show a picture/photo?

(I haven't changed anything in the database).

(I've manage to reach the "select image" by copy and paste the link in the address-field in IE)

<a href="{$CONFIG['ecards_more_pic_target']}displayimage.php?pid={$pos}"><img src="{$CONFIG['ecards_more_pic_target']}.{$from}" class="image" alt= Klicke hier wenn das Bild nicht sichtbar ist></a>
and change from
