Title: Upgrading from 1.4.n -> 1.5.18, Fatal error with no error message
Post by: Jan Kohl on February 22, 2012, 02:19:53 am
I've just finished uploading Coppermine 1.5.18 to my website, tried to run the update.php but it kicks me to the login page.  Yet when I try to run the login page, I get "Fatal error" but no error is listed.  I can't log in, I can't see the error and can't upgrade...  :(

Cheers!

Sorry for the double post, this board hangs for some reason and booted me out...

The board is at: http://www.burlingtonroute.com/gallery/

That link returns a 403 error which is not a Coppermine issue.

But, if you can get to your site and want to run update.php, you will need to (temporarily) modify update.php so that you can run it as an unlogged user. See this answer:

Make backups and restore the file after finishing.
