Title: Message says there are no User Galleries but there is!
Post by: bcrescue on January 27, 2012, 08:30:25 am
Hi all

I have managed to set up my gallery & have added an album. However I keep getting an i message saying there are no User Galleries when there is at least 1 - the one I created. I have attached a screen clip of what it says.

Why am I getting this error? I thought it might be because I was logged in as an Adminstrator so I logged out & then visited the site but still got the same message.

Can anyone shed some light....

Thanks

Please post a link to your gallery. It seems that you moved the album from another category directly to the user galleries category. That's not how that category works, as it's a special category for user albums.

It's not possible to create albums directly in that category, but it's possible to move them to that category (I'll try to fix that for the next Coppermine release).

You have now 3 possibilities:
- Move that album back to another category (e.g. to * No category *), create a new album directly in your user category (* My gallery*) and move the picture(s) to that album
- Adjust the category ID of that album manually in the database
- Delete the album, create a new album directly in your user category (* My gallery *) and upload your file(s) again

Fixed in SVN revision 8313.
