My gallery is located @ http://mitchpileggi.org/gallery and I have the latest upgrade in 1.5.16 as per the security update.
My issue is this, before I updated to 1.5.16, I had 1.5.14 and when I'd go to upload and then finally set album properties at having a certain image as the cover image, it would show as the last updated albums image on the font and subsequent pages. I just got through doing the upgrade and really want to continue this as I love how it looks on the front page. Is there a way to continue to do this with 1.5.16?

The behavior hasn't changed from cpg1.5.14 to cpg1.5.16, so it was rather accidentally.
You might want to try the "More Meta Albums" plugin (http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/topic,63706.0.html), especially the 'newalb' meta album.

Go to the Coppermine config and adjust "The content of the main page (http://documentation.coppermine-gallery.net/en/configuration.htm#admin_album_list_content)" (i.e. replace lastalb with newalb).
