Title: Album display thumbnails
Post by: lolainslacks on August 30, 2011, 12:56:29 am
I'm using the latest version of Coppermine, but even before I upgraded I can't seem to be able to show the display picture I choose for the albums. They show the latest uploaded pic as the display one.

How do I fix this?

Thanks!

One of them is http://leonardodicapriophotos.com.

I've upgraded to the latest version and it seems to be a bug, because when I downgraded/was using 1.5.12, the chosen display thumbs were working just fine. Since 1.5.14 this is not happening.

Could you fix this bug, please?

We're talking about the album thumbnails we can see e.g. here (http://leonardodicapriophotos.com/index.php?cat=4) (Set #001, Set #002, ...), right? You select any picture as album thumbnail and your gallery always shows the latest uploaded picture as album thumbnail?

Yes.

I cannot confirm that behavior in my test gallery nor in your gallery. I just checked a few albums in your gallery and none of the albums had the latest upload as album thumbnail. Please clear your browser cache.

Already did that. And all the other people I talk to who use Coppermine are having the same problem.

Please have a look at the attached picture. Are you talking about "1" or "2"?

Okay, I thought you're talking about the album thumbnails of the album list, but we're actually talking about the thumbnails of the meta album 'lastalb'.

You might want to try the "More Meta Albums" plugin (http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/topic,63706.0.html), especially the 'newalb' meta album.

Resolve your threads
If you have found an answer to your question, resolve your thread. Don't just post "I have found the answer", but tell others what you actually did to solve your issues. Posting a link to the page where you found the answer might help. Describing what you did might help as well. Finally, you can tag your answer as "solved" by clicking on the "Topic Solved" button on the bar at the left hand side at the bottom of your thread.
