Title: Welcome message visible to unlogged users, possible.
Post by: cyberdyne2 on July 07, 2011, 03:53:35 pm
I appreciate there is the 'anycontent' file but this is not visible to users who are not logged in.

I have had to disable unlogged user access so would like to place a note on the main page advising unlogged users to register/ log in in order to enter the gallery.

Is this possible please?
Thank you.

Martin, did this plugin require anything else other than the files contained within the download?
Thanks

You need to install the plugin, if you haven't: http://documentation.coppermine-gallery.net/en/plugins.htm#plugin_manager_install

If I remember correctly we had a support request in the past where we extended the login page, so additional information will be shown when unregistered users will be redirected to the login page. Try to search for that thread if the solution with the plugin won't work for you.

I did manage to get it to work after realigning my greybox which for some reason disappeared to the extreme bottom left and corner of the page. All sorted now after editing the .css file.
Many thanks
