would like to see a feature
that it will automatically add a prefix to the image after upload completed

Because it has been massively abused in the past. For the same reason the PM feature has been disabled as well.

if someone run a huge image size download site, they would want to advertise for themselves
by adding prefix to the filename
or
just too keep things neat, use prefix as categories, when the whole gallery is based on members upload
for example
an image uploaded by a member is named "this is a dog"
it will automatically add prefix to the file name
"xxxx.com this is a dog" or "animals this is a dog"

I doubt that this will be a core feature in any future versions of Coppermine. Should be quite easy to create a plugin or a mod if you need it urgently.

alright, can you great a mod or i should post somewhere and ask other ppl if they wanna?

Feel free to start and new thread in the plugins board or the freelancer board. Maybe someone has already created such a plugin and shares it with the community
