Title: the previous file could not be placed

I haven't added any new pic to my gallery in a long time and when to put some up the other day and keep getting errors.  "The previous file could not be placed."

I tried updating to the new version, which seems to have went ok, but still get the same error..  Any ideas what's gone wrong?
