When I scan a broschure or magazine covers. For some reason I get serious problems adding the pictures into galleries. When I go to batch add files and select the directory of the images. I see them listed but I can't add them to the albums i want. Why is this happening? Is there a setting that has to be changed?

What exactly happens when you try to add them? What happens when you use the simple HTTP uploader?

When I go to the catalog on the server where the files has been uploaded. I see that there are files there. But when I try to there is no option as to add them into albums. This happens only when i scan magazine covers or brochures.
When i click ok on the screen in the screenshot. I get the message no new files found. Or it doesnt find any files at all even when they are listed.

You have an album named "bus&coah.
Try it with an album named using only these characters.
- letters
- numbers
- the - symbol
- the _ symbol
Normally you can only use those rules / characters for naming files and folders on your server.

Thats the name of the catalog on the server not the album name.

Try a different folder name. E.g. rename
bus&coah
to
bus_coah
