Title: batch upload not working and not reporting errors

Hi,
I've read many threads regarding batch upload problems but none seem to apply to my problem:
I clean installed coppermine 1.4.16 that comes with my hosting (network solutions).
I've uploaded my pictures to folders in albums folder (didn't touch userpics folder). All files have r and x permissions and can be viewed fine directly. But when I try to batch add my pictures into the gallery itself - nothing happens - nothing gets added and I don't get any batch-add errors.
Can anyone please help me?

Nevermind, I fixed it - it turns out that the default configuration was set to use magicstick app which caused the problem.
