Title: private group gallery

Is it possible to hide a gallery and have it visible and available for a specific group only? I have my gallery bridged with phpbb.

What exactly do you mean with 'gallery'? When we speak of the gallery, we mean the whole gallery. Additionally Coppermine has categories, albums and files.

We would like to have a place where only a few people can upload pictures when they have compleetd a project, But we don't want those files to be public. Forexample, we have a team of people who have projects due on the 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th. I thought I could create a category called the "design team" and have different ablums for the diffent days of the month.

When I did this everyone could see the category.

You can set permissions only for albums: http://documentation.coppermine-gallery.net/en/albums.htm#album_prop_controls_album_can_be_viewed_by
