OK this is what happened.
I have Hostgator as my host, I did there "Quickinstall". They e-mailed me a password and well for saome reason the software kept defaulting to my forum softwares ID and password.
Now I'm locked out "banned" from my own site.
What file do I need to edit on the FTP to removed the ban and how do I than set up a user ID with a password so this don't happen again?

Next time please search the board before posting support requests. Here are the first 3 results when searching for 'admin password':

Still is something else wrong.
Ban fixed but still won't let me log in even as admin with the password I set
-
I just keep getting log in failed
-
OK I searched and got nothing.
I get log in failed everytime I try to log in. Not even once have I been able to get into the software. And I'm inputting the ID and PW I set up through data base..
This sucks from all I read and saw this software offers all things I'm looking for, but I can get into it..

Either you've done something wrong or it's a bug in the auto-installer: http://documentation.coppermine-gallery.net/en/auto-installers.htm#why_not
-
Why do you start a second thread for the same issue? Merging with your existing one.
-
I suggest to install Coppermine as described in our docs (http://documentation.coppermine-gallery.net/en/install.htm). Otherwise we cannot help you.
-
Getting super flustered that was why.
First time I've ever had a host do my install and now it looks like I'll have to go back and re-do what they did..
-
Found out what was wrong, when the host did the install they had my database ID set wrong so it was all glitched out. Seems they just do a copy and paste than plug in a few values. All up and working now that I re-installed it.
-
Exactly for those reason we recommend to not use auto-installers. Who knows what else is misconfigured.
-
All should be good now that I did a fresh install.
Now working on bridging this with my SMF site..
