Title: Error After Successful Multiple File Upload and then clicking continue
Post by: scohen125 on November 10, 2010, 03:09:22 am

I am getting an error after successfully uploading multiple files with the flash uploader and pressing continue saying that I do not have permission to access this page and then I am automatically logged out.  This happens when I am logged in as admin or user.  It does not always happen, usually just the first time I try to edit files immediately after uploading.  I can edit the files if I do not push continue, but instead go back to the album page and then to the edit files link.  It seems to be the continue button going immediately from uploading pictures to editing files that generated the error.  I found the problem on another thread, but the coppermine I am using already has the fix in it suggested by the thread.

This is the thread I found describing the same problem.  I checked my files and my editpics.php has the code in it already suggested by the below thread.

I am attaching my editpics.php (as a txt file)

Doesn't help much without a link to your gallery ;D

Sorry.  My gallery is: www.retinagallery.com .  Thank you for all the help.  I feel like I must be using about half of your time this past month with my questions.  I think I am almost done with them though.  The package is amazing.  I just added EnlargeIt.  Really cool.

You visit your website with the leading 'www.' but in your Coppermine setup it's without the 'www.': http://documentation.coppermine-gallery.net/en/configuration.htm#admin_general_coppermine-url

I cannot seem to get rid of this error.  In my admin page the url for coppermine is http://retinagallery.com/ which is in compliance, as far as I can tell, with the documentation.  I am having some browser issues, so I tried this with IE 8 and the newest google chrome.

After loggining in as a user or admin, the very first time I upload files with the flash uploader, and click continue, I get logged out with an error.  I have attached a screenshot of the error page.

Most likely as you visit your gallery at http://www.retinagallery.com/ instead of http://retinagallery.com/. Am I right?

Yes, I always type www.retinagallery.com .  I'll try accessing the gallery the other way with just retinagallery.com without the www.

If that works, I'll post back soon.  Thank you again for the help.

You are, again, correct, that my site works fine as long as it is not accessed with www.retinagallery.com but rather with retinagallery.com.  The www. messes it up.  I have gone into my hosting account and inserted a redirect so anyone accessing www.retinagallery.com will be redirected to http://retinagallery.com  and now I do not get the error message anymore.

Thank you again.

Don't worry. I already reported that issue.

Andre, can you check that regular members can see the solved button.  I've checked a post or two that I still have open, and there's no solved button as was before the SMF update.  Like I said before there's nowhere to report any problems with the coppermine-gallery.net website, other than posting in the wrong place.
