Title: Strange behaviour in batch add (but circumventable)
Post by: peterlustig on November 03, 2010, 03:24:18 pm
Hi everybody,

just a quick observation:

with settings "Auto resize images that are larger than max width or height" (inside the "File settings " section) set to "Yes: everyone" coppermine refused to batch-add pictures that were not in a 3:2 format. Those pictures were in a 1:1 format, however the length/width was less than determined in the setting "Max width or height for uploaded pictures". Thus, no resizing would have been needed. Nevertheless those quadratic pictures are not integrated into the database.

Only when changing the "Auto resize images that are larger than max width or height" to "Yes: User only" I can add those files as an admin.

So, no real problem here, but nevertheless strange behavior.

Cheers, Peter

Can you please perform an upgrade to the latest svn revision and try again if that problem still exists? If so, please post your settings and the file. Thanks.

What is "the latest SVN revision"? I just upgrade to cpg1.5.8 -- I thought this is the latest version?

Cheers, Peter

Thanks a lot for the explanation.

OK, upgraded to rev 7995 -- and everythings works just fine. Thanks so much!
