Title: Clicking image keeps asking for username and password
Post by: yuppicide on June 23, 2010, 10:59:24 pm
http://www.peppermint-bay.com/cat/

Upgraded to 1.5.. all my albums are password protected.. sunfun is the current password if you want to see.

When someone enters the password it shows thumbnails, which is fine.

Problem is when you click a picture to view it larger, it asks for username and password. I don't have any setup, nor do I allow registrations.

Have a look at the section Album Can Be Viewed By (http://www.peppermint-bay.com/cat/docs/en/albums.htm#album_prop_controls_album_can_be_viewed_by) within your documentation, then review your album properties (http://www.peppermint-bay.com/cat/docs/en/albums.htm#album_prop) and make adjustments as necessary.

http://documentation.coppermine-gallery.net/en/groups.htm#group_cp_access_level is the solution imo, which is a new feature in cpg1.5.x, so you need to configure it.

Groups solved it. Thanks.
