Did you read the instructions from the announcement thread (http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/topic,60195.msg297840.html#msg297840)?

Yes I did and missed the top part. I tried it and still do not get it. When it says rename the file I do that but it always puts the .txt as the extension. I can not even play videos already uploaded.

What am I doing wrong?

Ok I finally figured it out but how can I play the embedded videos already loaded on my site?

I had better luck with the mod. but now this is easier, except for users and then it might not be so easy. Is there still a mod available?

There is no mod for cpg1.5.x as using them is not recommended. Are you using Windows to change the file's extension? If yes, you need to go to the setting screen of explorer and enable the option that says something like this:"enable the display of known extensions". I can't tell you more specific steps because I'm not using Windows.

Thanks,

I figured out. Somehow I missed that top section of the plugin announcement. My bad.

Now I need to figure out how to play videos I already have uploaded.

There's a load of plugins that takes care for all forms of video formats. Review the plugins page (http://coppermine-gallery.net/plugins.php?cpg_version=5) and decide for one.
