Title: [Closed]: position of menu buttons & position of comment input form
Post by: jester-head on June 10, 2010, 11:07:45 am
hey!
1) in version 1.4.27 of cpg the menu buttons are aligned "center".
unfortunately this is different in version 1.5.4. here the buttons seem to be aligned "left" but i want to have them centered.

2) i want the comment input form to stay obove the postet comments. i found a threat dealing with this problem, but sadly it is for cpg version 1.4.x.
i compared the codes of cpg 1.4.x and 1.5.4 and unfortunately i had to realise that the codes differ from another.

would be grat if anyone could help me.

With your posting you broke several rules:
Your second question will get ignored in this thread. Do as I suggested per board rules!

No "Powered by Coppermine" footer -> no support (see http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/topic,55415.msg270635.html#msg270635). Bye.

Merged your new thread with the existing thread. You're constantly breaking board rules. Why should we bother to look into your issues, with you behaving like this?

Web Developer Toolbar usage (http://documentation.coppermine-gallery.net/en/theme_style_css.htm#theme_style_css_tools_webdev).

in version 1.4.27 of cpg the menu buttons are aligned "center".
unfortunately this is different in version 1.5.4. here the buttons seem to be aligned "left" but i want to have them centered.
In some themes that came with cpg1.4.x this was the case. In others not. So what you're saying about cpg1.4.x is nonsense: there was no general alignment for all menu buttons in all themes for cpg1.4.x. The same thing applies for cpg1.5.x: some buttons are aligned to the left, others to the right, others centered. That's the beauty of having a theme engine: you can easily apply different layouts. If you don't like the curve theme or can't figure out which element controls which part of the screen, pick another theme that is less hard to edit for newbies.
