I was running the copper ad plugin on the previous version of cpg smoothly. But after upgrading to cpg1.4.26, due to some reason i had to delete the plugin and retried to install the same. Then started the troubles. After installing the copper ad it doesn't show in the installed plugins or in the not installed plugins. I have again downloaded Copper ad v1.2.5 and tried to install. Again the same problem occurs. It doesn't show in the installed plugins or in the not installed plugins.
Please help me in resolving the issue - my web page is www.southscreen.com

Looks like you haven't installed the copper-ad plugin (http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/topic,33151.html); at least it's not there where it is supposed to be: http://www.southscreen.com/plugins/copper_add/codebase.php returns a 404 not found.
You probably downloaded an older version, where one of the flaws was that the plugin author hasn't put the files of the zip archive into a folder that is named accordingly. Subsequently, you probably have extracted the contents of the outdated zip file into the root of your plugins folder, where the plugin manager can't find it. Download the most recent stable release cpg1.4.x_plugin_copper-ad_v1.2.5.zip and you'll be good. Please note that there are maintenance works on 2010-04-17 and 2010-04-18 where the download repository may be down.

That's expected behaviour. You're not meant to access that file directly. I only accessed it to check if it's there or not.
Back to your initial report: did uploading the most recent version of the plugin into the proper folder fix your issue that the plugin didn't get listed on the plugin manager page?
-
No. The problem is not yet fixed. Even after uploading the most recent version of the plugin into the proper folder, the plugin didn't get listed on the plugin manager page.

Post a screenshot of your plugin manager (attach it to your posting)
