Title: Merging album directories

I have moved photos from a bunch of different albums to one new album (consolidating various albums into one album). Each of those albums was in a separate directory on the server (all within the "albums" directory in Coppermine).
I was wondering if it is possible to merge those directories into the one directory for organisation sake but without loosing info such as Titles and Descriptions.
