Fellows,
is it possible that the number of plugins in use is limited to 4? I am currently running cpg1.4.26 and running 4 plugins. If I want to add further plugins, those plugins
a) do not get added to the "Installed plugins" in the plugin-manager-screen and
b) get deleted from the "Plugins not installed" section of the plugin-manager-screen
Nevertheless, these plugins still reside in the plugin directory on my server. Reloading the pluginmanager doesn't help. So my questions are:
a) How to I get further plugins to run?
b) How do I make the plugins that I have unsuccessfully tried to run and that are now nomore displayed reappear in the plugin-manager?
Is this a familiar problem? I couldn't find anything on this in this forum....
Would be very thankful for any help!

No, that's not the case. If plugin number 5 makes the plugin manager die during execution then you will experience the issue you have. Culprit is plugin number 5 (the plugin manager tries to list the plugins in alphabetical order). Get rid of that faulty plugin and you should be good.
