Title: Can't log into my gallery
Post by: liis009 on February 20, 2010, 04:50:13 pm
Hello. I have lost my passoword and username. I had some problems with MySql, so my host restored my database tables. And now I can't log into my gallery.
I think I have to change my password and username via PhpMyAdmin? If so, what I have to do to cange them?

Thank You!

A simple search of the forum for "lost password" brings up 6 pages of answers most of which will show you in detail how to fix your problem.

Thank you for your answer.

I have searched it already, but not many of them say how to change it via phpmyadmin. And if it does, I still can't understand. The password and username are encrypted and it' so hard to understand, what to do.

I got a new password now. But when I want to log in, it logs me in, but still wants me to type the password and username. But where can I get username?

The username can clearly be seen in the users table via phpmyadmin

Yeah, I found it. I logged in and it said Welcome and then threw me back to log in page. What should I do?

Your hoster injects a lot of ads before the starting doctype declaration and after the closing </html> tag, so that could interfere. It throwas a lot of cookies as well.
Give us a non-admin test user account or enable registration if you want us to look into your issues (that differ from your initial issue: now you have recovered your lost password but your login doesn't stick).

P.S. Freehosts suck. You're about to figure out why.
