Title: [Solved]: Upload Fail Message: "The previous file could not be placed"

Dear Visiters,

I have sucessfully install coppermine-gallery in my site through Cpanel.

When I upload the pictures first pictures are upload and finally following message is shown:
"The previous file could not be placed.
You have successfully placed all the files."


I have changed the folder permission to 777 and 755 . But still my problem is not solved
So please any boady have any knowledge of this problem please suggest me . I have listed
the login id and password . If u wish then please use it and try what happen...

In my opinion, you need to read the Coppermine DOC ,-)
In your CONFIG, your choice was ImageMagik instead GD2.x.
Now all work fine.

In futur, do'nt send any ADMIN pass  ;D We prefer an User Account  ;)

As imagemagik was selected by default I am guessing that you used your hosts installer rather than the method we suggest. If that is the case then please perform the upgrade procedure with files downloaded from this here, there are loads of known issues caused by hosts installers one of which is imagemagik being set when the host doesn't have it. If my guess is wrong then have fun with your gallery.
