Title: Coppermine bridge with Portal XL 5.0
Post by: silverbulletuk on October 19, 2009, 10:21:04 pm
Hi,

I'm trying to bridge coppermine to Portal XL 5.0 I have used the below settings.

phpBB version 2.0.18 or better

Forum URL: http://www.thenbk.eu
Relative path to your BBS's config file: my cpg is in \gallery\ and my forum in \root\ I have tried both /, ./ & ../
Cookie prefix: nbk

If I use /  I get the message /config.php doesn't exist. Correct the value you entered for Relative path to your BBS's config file
If I use ./ I get the message "There was an error while processing a database query" then I get the message Fatal error : when loading gallery
If I use ../ the process seems to completes fine but get Fatal error : when loading gallery

Hope someone can shed some light on this for me.

Thankyou

Not sure what portal xl 5.0 is but I assume it is something to do with phpbb3 (from a very quick google). There is a bridge available for phpbb3 and you are not using the correct one if it is th case to want to bridge with that.

I have no idea if it works with Portal Xl 5.0 whatever that does.

Cheers for that I also needed a couple of other files but you pointed me on the right directly, so its now bridged with phpbb3 but when I log in as a admin or user the link for uploads has disappeared and there is no comments or rating under the pictures anymore.

When I remove the bridge the upload link appears again.
