I have searched and read a ton of awnesrs. But I don't understand them. Upon uploading an image...I get:
The file 'albums/userpics/banner.jpg' can't be inserted in the album
Unable to create thumbnail or reduced size image.
File: /home/screensh/public_html/db_input.php - Line: 402
If anyone can help me on what to do it would be greatly appreciated !

Uploads are working as expected for me. Check out the test album.
How big is the image you are having trouble with? You may be running into php limitations.

All fixed. i had to change the Imagemagik or w/e to GD2

but how do i create my own gallery? like admin's gallery or w/e

It is all in the docs (http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/docs/index.htm#cat_alb_pic). Take your time to read them and you will soon work it out.
Also, we have a one question per thread policy so if you continue to struggle please start a new thread in the relavent section.
I am also guessing that because your configuration defaulted to imagemagik you used your hosts built in installer? If that is the case they often cause problems so we cannot support them. If that is the case simply download a copy of coppermine from this site and follow the upgrade instructions and you will have an official version.
