Title: Ability to use multiple Keyword in linked albums
Post by: timc1977 on July 23, 2009, 07:04:33 pm
Has anyone found a way to have multiple keywords in Linked Albums.

For example  I would like to have a album that contains all the pictures with the keyword "tim" and all the pictures with the keyword "terah".  I know in the help for album keywords states that only one keyword can be used, but I was curious if anyone found a way to use multiple.

Thanks

There is no such way, as that is not a feature of coppermine. You'd have to perform a lot of custom coding in various places to accomplish that. Nobody has contributed such a mod yet.

Turn around...

Why not do the reverse.
Personally, first I'll give to my Album a KeyWord Album with the id N° Album => A1 or A23 in exemple.
Secondly, if I want to put some pictures from an other album, they must have the KeyWord Album A1 or A23, it is simple and requires no code :-)

To add to what Pascal just said: why not assign the album keyword "TimTerah" and then assign those keywords to the pics you want to see appear inside that album? Assigning the keyowrds "tim" and "TimTerah" to a picture that shows Tim only won't hurt. Assign "terah" and "TimTerah" to a pic that shows Terah. Assign "tim", "terah" and "TimTerah" to an image that shows both Tim and Terah.
