Hi All,
I have developed a fairly crude wrapper to the FLEX version of Coverflow that takes its image feeds from coppermine. It's not a plugin as yet and I just wanted to get a feel for if this is something that would warrant time spent to make this a plugin.

Its all done with the free Adobe Flex SDK (http://www.adobe.com/products/flex/) and FlashDeveloper (http://www.flashdevelop.org)and wraps Doug McCune's coverflow libraries (http://dougmccune.com/blog/2007/11/03/coverflow-flex-component/).
Currently, it can sit outside of the coppermine area and simply full images from coppermine with a few additional php files added to provide necessary XML.
