Title: New MOD Pack install problems
Post by: Seiko_UK on June 20, 2009, 12:42:25 am
Hello,

I have installed Coppermine 1.4.24 (stable) today and installed Stramm's latest Mod Pack as follows:

1, Unpack and over right with all the files in original gallery directory.
2, Run update.php

All seems ok when I go back to the main page gallery page but in the admin / config, I cant see them menus like 'Image Watermarking' option or others?
On the bottom of the page it says: Powered by Coppermine Photo Gallery  Modded by Stramm but all looks the same with no extra options.

What am I doing wrong as I've now tried 3 times and its the same :(

Seiko.

Posting a link to your gallery might be helpful ;)

You probably need to switch to the main English language (not British English).

Is it just watermarking you are after? If so the modpack might be a little much for your needs. There are many other watermarking options.

is actually the new modpack version on the server?

i did see that english is the language you selected, but that modpack version has the text for the admin menus.

Save electrons and time.

Search before posting

Search = Plugins (http://coppermine-gallery.net/plugins.php)

Search = Watermark Plugin (http://cpg-contrib.org/board/index.php?board=14.0)

Wow, great help, thanks (that is sarcasm)

If you read the links posted, non of them really work on 1.4.24

Thanks for making me waste electrons and time!!

Maybe I was not clear? Check your server for the version of that file (size & date). Verify that it is the modpack version on the server, not the version that comes standard with CPG.

If it is the standard version make sure you upload the modpack version.

There's an entire sub-board full of mods dedicated to watermarking (http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/board,33.0.html), so your question regarding suggestions for watermarking mods seems inappropriate to me. Just decide for one of the mods there. Your reply to i-imagine who tried to help you seems inappropriate as well. I suggest reviewing your attitude: it's you who is asking for something (free support in this case), not vice versa. You don't do us a favor - we do you a favor. >:(
