Title: Help with Config>User Settings
Post by: greatlakeskim on June 05, 2009, 01:15:00 am
Hey Guys,

I've had CopperMine on my site for a good year or two now and never had this issue before. I used to have it setup so that I would require users to wait for my to activiate their account. However, due to time constraints now I wish to change that.

When I go to User Settings, I try and set Allow New User Registrations to Yes, User registration requires email verification to No, Notify Admin of user registration by email yes, admin activation of registrations no.

However, when I do this it takes me to a screen where I have to "authenticate" and gives two boxes - which I presume are for my admin username and pw. When I enter it and everthing, I get this debug info.

Forum Rules

And also, you need to upgrade before coming back for help.

Sry about that. New here.

Ok so I updated, ran the script, etc. I checked the versions on all my files and they are all current. Yet I still am not allowed to change my user settings.

Here is a screen shot of what I am seeing.

New or not you must post by the rules.

Do not hotlink images (as the link might go down later, leaving your entire thread useless for others with similar issues), but attach the images (e.g. screenshots) to your posting. To accomplish this, click "Additional Options..." when composing your message. Then use the "Attach"-field to browse your local files and attach the image(s) to your posting
.

Play by the rules from now on if you want support!
What's shown on the second screenshot (you already have been told to attach your images instead of hotlinking them) isn't part of coppermine, so unless you added that as a mod deliberately I'd say that you got hacked, caused by the fact that you have been reluctant to upgrade for so long. Just performing the upgrade after having been hacked will not cure your webspace. Read Yikes, I've been hacked! Now what? (http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/topic,51927.0.html)
