Title: Upgrading a really old Coppermine
Post by: psnabe on April 13, 2009, 08:41:37 pm
I need to move my coppermine photogallery to another server - it is a really old installation - so I was thinking about first upgrading it and when moving it. But can i upgrade it without any problems - it is from 2006?

All upgrades in the 1.4.x series should be no problem atall. What version do you have?

you can find the version number by looking the doc page from your coppermine install (go to the adress: http://www.yoursite/your_coppermine_directory/docs)
or run the versioncheck.php script loggin as admin

Then you can easily update.

Upgrading from cpg1.4.0 or better to version cpg1.4.21 (http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/docs/index.htm#14)
