Title: Critical error

Hi, when I'm opening my gallery it gives the following message:

Coppermine critical error:
Unable to connect to database !

MySQL said: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (2)

How can I fix this?
