Title: Problem Viewing Site

I keep getting the error 500 internal server error. I don't know why, is it because of the theme? If so, is there anyway to change it without actually being in the admin since I cant view anything on the site whatsoever. I am trying to retrieve the pictures from within, so is there a way I can access the pictures via FTP?

Ask your web hosting support, they should fix it.

I don't think my host knows anything. They said it is just a file missing. Here is what my error log says:
RewriteBase: argument is not a valid URL

If an "error 500" shows up and your web host doesn't know how to fix it, move to another host. Read to them the name of the "Error 500".... It says: <error 500 internal server error>. So are they suggesting to let you get into the server to fix their problem? I think not, so ask again, they should fix it.
